This session will provide an overview of the current state of OpenSCD. It will demonstrate and explain the different modules that comprise the OpenSCD ecosystem, illustrating how users can easily create a new distribution with their custom plug-ins and add-ons. We will then go through some plugins and explore how they can work together, before diving deeper into the architecture and technologies used by OpenSCD. I will then provide an overview of the existing community and the various ways in which members can contribute to and engage with the project. Finally, I will share our vision for the future as a standalone project, a direct collaboration with the LF Energy CoMPAS project and our place in the bigger LF Energy ecosystem.
