During this presentation, I would like to walk through CoMPAS’ Ecosystem. What is it and how can we use CoMPAS to create or edit easy, robust IEC61850 Files? We will talk about how CoMPAS relates to OpenSCD (different presentation about OpenSCD), several CoMPAS Components of the Ecosystem and the future of CoMPAS. Why should Companies use CoMPAS? To get rid of a vendor lock-in, CoMPAS can be used as a shell where the source-of-truth lives for IEC61850 files. Vendors have the possibility to create Plugins in the CoMPAS Ecosystem for a smooth connectivity between CoMPAS components. The presentation will have a short demo where functionality of different Components will be showcased. We (Alliander) would also like to have a Demo Booth, would this be possible? More information can be provided later.
