This demonstration will showcase the integration of GE Vernova's Virtual Intelligent Electronic Device (VIED) protection solution with the LF Energy SEAPATH hypervisor platform. The presentation will illustrate the deployment and configuration of the virtual protection system on LF Energy SEAPATH, emphasizing its seamless integration and operational efficiency. Attendees will observe the VIED's real-time response to a simulated current fault on the power line, highlighting the system's fault detection and protection triggering capabilities. Additionally, the demo will provide a detailed analysis of the latency between fault detection and protection activation, underscoring the system's rapid response time and reliability. This demonstration aims to highlight the advancements in virtual protection technologies and their critical role in enhancing the resilience and stability of modern energy systems.
