This session will describe the concrete experience of the grid operator areti to bring the Platform SOGNO in a real life context. Within the project ROMEFLEX, areti is completely transforming the operation of the grid in the city of Rome while introducing an implementation of local market of flexibility. The process of transformation goes from the level of substation to the control room. The solution is developed in parallel to the current operation so that the SOGNO solution integrates within the already working Distribution Management System. The session will present both the technical solution and the services developed as support and also the internal process of transformation of areti to drive this process. The session will cover: - review of the key characteristics of the SOGNO platform. Services already adopted and plans for future services - structure of the application in Rome for local flexibility. Experience from research project and future developments - description of additional use cases and their relation to the SOGNO platform. - future expansion of the solution with the inclusion of new use cases
